Matrix acquires permits associated with Puente Hills Habitat Area Sycamore Canyon Creek Restoration Project

Matrix announced the pending receipt of all permits associated with its Puente Hills Habitat Area Sycamore Canyon Creek Restoration Project. The permits that have been pending include final permits from the Los Angeles Regional Water Quality Control Board and the California Department of Fish and Game. In addition, Matrix is to receive a permit for grading from the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works. Matrix will initiate a project in the fall to stabilize creek erosion, remove debris to assist better water flow, remove non-native plants and repair a current stream crossing. The remediation project is to take place along an approximate 1000 foot section of the creek.
